Advantage manages all system settings

LeanPath waste tracking systems record information about:

    Waste Dimensions
  • Waste Dimension: A characteristic linked to a wasted item, such as what type of food it is, why it was discarded, what date & time, who threw the item away, etc.

  • Waste Types
  • Waste Type: Any of the options available within a given waste dimension. For example, the food dimension contains numerous food types, each representing a selection available for tracking such as oranges, apples, bananas, grapes. etc.

Dimension & Type Management

  • Set & organize waste dimensions and items to track.

  • Add Team Members to the Tracker
    • Foods

    • Customer Questions

  • Maintain key information
  • Manage Food Types and Pricing
    • Multiple price books supported
    • Container tare weights
    • Establish contextual food pricing adjustment based on loss reasons

Tracker & Site Management
Manage Trackers
  • Manage multiple Trackers within one waste database
  • Manage multiple sites within one waste database
  • Create menu orders and button names that make tracking clearest for users
  • Set defaults for stations, dispositions and dayparts
  • Set defaults for pre-consumer v. post-consumer food waste tracking

Support for Paper Tracking
Set-up Recurring Transactions In limited cases, it may not be practical to bring certain items to the Tracker due to heat, distance, or weight (e.g. brewed coffee shuttles). These items are candidates for initial tracking on paper with later entry into ValuWaste Tracker or directly into ValuWaste Advantage. Use Advantage to set-up "recurring transactions" which memorize all the settings for these items, including weight-to-volume conversions. These recurring transactions then appear on the Tracker and in Advantage's "Enter Waste Data" module.

Manage Baselines
Set-up Recurring Transactions Waste reduction measurement requires that you compare current results against an initial baseline. Advantage enables managers to set baselines dynamically (based on average or maximum recordings during specific periods).

Event Clients
Advantage offers the ability to set-up event clients and then track waste by clients and specific events.
