The ValuWaste Program is ultimately about changing the behavior of organizations so that they operate more effectively, and basing that change on observed reality. ValuWaste Tracker supports the collection of food waste data, which provides the foundation. ValuWaste Advantage helps managers and key employees turn that raw data into knowledge by arming them with reports and interactive tools that provide fact-based guidance for reducing operational food waste.

Advantage, a PC software application that runs on industry-standard Windows XP and Windows 98, is designed for the food services manager. It facilitates accomplishing key process steps (e.g., importing waste data from Trackers) that are necessary for implementing the ValuWaste Program. In addition to the battery of useful standard and custom reports it provides, Advantage serves as a central control panel for the entire ValuWaste System.

Advantage maintains a current snapshot of the organization's Trackers and how they are configured. It also communicates over the Internet to LeanPath's servers, for backing up its database.
