The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and growing new client partnerships with leading food businesses. Duties include prospecting, discovery, pilot program coordination, and business case development. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience selling on premise smart hardware enabled IoT solutions to multinational enterprise customers. Experience in foodservices, navigating complex buying coalitions and a strong entrepreneurial skill set.

We have an open opportunity for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building a dynamic suite of data analytics features/products that will enable the foodservice and hospitality industry to end avoidable food waste. Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience to identify and fill gaps, and generate new ideas that will improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Map product strategy to strategic business goals
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Generate product requirements, determining specifications and production timetables
  • Create buy-in for the product plan both internally and externally
  • Scope and prioritize product initiatives based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with fellow product managers and engineering teams to deliver product on-time and optimize resources
  • Bring new products to market through the product release process, coordinating with all internal teams including manufacturing and customer support
  • Lead the product marketing efforts for applicable products developing integrated plans and materials in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Provide input on product pricing and positioning strategies

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 or more years of experience in product management process roles
  • Experience in an environment featuring hardware, software and network-based products and a direct sales force that sells to enterprise customers
  • Demonstrable experience working with both in-house and contract development organizations
  • Demonstrated leadership managing complex, competing requirements in excess of development/manufacturing capacity, with an exceptional ability to prioritize and perform
  • Experience providing market-driven architecture and design guidance to development groups
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Ability to communicate product line roadmaps to sales, channel partners and customers, and solicit input and feedback
  • Experience recruiting and managing third party technology suppliers

The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to play a central role in developing and implementing LeanPath’s marketing and public relations plan in key geographies. Working with the Director of Marketing, the intern will conduct market and competitive analysis and identify opportunities to raise LeanPath’s profile in ways that support growth of our client base. Our intern will be part of a highly collaborative team working every day to solve the problem of food waste, one of the world’s most pressing environmental and social issues. This position will be compensated.


  • Working with the Director of Marketing, develop a marketing/PR plan for key geographies. Plan will focus on brand awareness and brand understanding.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to develop account-based marketing content and opportunities.
  • Work with the marketing team to contribute to key communication platforms.
  • Assist with understanding user insights, research & trends, competitive analysis and work to translate them into business strategies.
  • Assist the marketing department with marketing plans, product launches, and campaign initiatives.
